Decided to take the plunge on an Android tablet on Black Friday

Yes it's one of the cheap ones but it is ICS 4.0.4 with 512mb ram. Can someone tell me why the #googleplay store only installs version 1.08 of the #gplus app? I'm ok with it if there is a technical reason, just curious.

    I have no idea but I can google this better if you tell me the exact model of your tablet.

    It's an azpen a701. This is my first experience with android so I am just not too sure where to go.

    Just did some searching and found a couple of people with the same problem as you.  I don't know why.  Maybe Azpen didn't properly license Google Play or something
